About Empowered Health Foundation

From your first steps to your last chapter, EHF walks beside the whole of you: body, spirit, and story.
OUR MISSION

Empowered Health Foundation supports healing and human connection across the lifespan by bringing together the physical, emotional, and spiritual dimensions of health. Through movement, education, body-based healing, and meaningful human connection, we help children, individuals, and families strengthen their relationship with their bodies, understand the experiences that shape their health, and reconnect with what gives their lives meaning.

From childhood development and prevention, through recovery and life’s greatest challenges, to serious illness and the end of life, our work honors the whole person: body, mind, and soul.

OUR VISION

We envision a healthcare culture that recognizes health as more than the absence of disease.

We believe people should have opportunities to understand their bodies, participate meaningfully in their health, strengthen relationships, heal generational patterns, and remain connected to purpose and spirit throughout every stage of life.

Our vision is a more connected humanity: stronger children, healthier individuals, more loving families, and communities that recognize that caring for the human body also means caring for the human experience.

Our Approach:
Physioenergetic Anatomy®

Every EHF program rests on one framework: Physioenergetic Anatomy®. Developed through Dr. Gina Calderone’s more than twenty years of work with the body as a physical therapist, it maps how lived experience (stress, grief, relationships, trauma, and patterns passed down through families) can take shape in the body.

We speak two languages at Empowered Health Foundation: the language of soul, and the language of the nervous system. Physioenergetic Anatomy® is the translation between them.

Whether you call it soul work or somatic regulation, the body is where healing has to happen. That is why every EHF program begins with the body and never ends there.

Our Founder

Dr. Gina Calderone, PT, DPT, is a physical therapist, educator, and founder of Empowered Health Foundation. For more than two decades, she has explored how our life experiences—stress, trauma, relationships, loss, and generational patterns—can manifest in the physical body.

Her clinical work led to the development of Physioenergetic Anatomy®, a framework for understanding the connections between the physical, emotional, energetic, and spiritual body. Through her clinical practice, teaching, writing, and nonprofit work, Dr. Calderone is helping advance a more whole-person approach to health across the lifespan. She is the author of the forthcoming Physioenergetic Anatomy®: How Life Manifests in the Body.
